Oiling the body comes from the ancient art of Ayurveda. Ayurveda is the sister science to yoga and knowing more about the art of oiling the body inside and out allows us to find ways to better care for ourselves on a day to day basis. 

This workshop is all about the powerful benefits of oiling the body both inside and out. Saskia will guide you as to:

  • Which oils to use
  • Why oiling is so beneficial to our health and well being
  • Gives skin a radiant glow
  • Stimulate circulation
  • Detoxify & rebuild tissues
  • Improves quality of sleep
  • Helps balance hormones

Session will include practical information through lecture, meditation, and restorative yoga. Note pad and pen is recommended.

Saskia Bergmans Smith is a seasoned 500hr Certified Yoga Instructor and Yoga Therapist, she has been teaching yoga for over 17 years. Saskia created the Art of Self Nurturing series to help educate and remind ourselves how to better care for ourselves within this fast-paced and hectic life that we lead. She is passionate about helping & guiding students to understand what balance looks like in their mind, body and life, as it is slightly different for each of us.
