Transcendental Meditation Info Sessions
June 12th, 2018 5:00 PM - 6:15 PM

Dive deep into the field of consciousness with the Transcendental Meditation technique, an easy-to-learn, enjoyable-to-practice, highly effective meditation practice rooted in the classic yoga tradition. The TM® technique is a yoga meditation that derives directly from the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, and has been revived in this scientific age by renowned Vedic Scientist and Sage Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.

The TM® technique is effortlessly practiced within 20 minutes in the morning and evening. It recharges your mind and body — and creates a brighter, more positive state of mind. The TM® technique allows your mind to settle inward, through quieter levels of thought, until you experience the most silent and peaceful level of your own awareness — pure consciousness.

Published research shows the TM® technique to be most effective in reducing anxiety, stress, and stress-related illness, including cardiovascular disease, stroke, and all-cause mortality.

The TM® technique has been shown to promote optimal brain functioning— significantly increasing intelligence (IQ), creativity, memory, alertness, psychological stability, moral reasoning, and executive functioning. Long-term TM practice leads to the development of higher states of consciousness—a self-realized state of “liberation” or “freedom.” This exalted state of human achievement has been documented scientifically, as evidenced by distinctive changes in brain functioning with subjective reports of inner unbounded awareness (samadhi) during activity and during sleep (nirvikalpa samadhi, or enlightenment). This state of profound neurological integration is accompanied by highly significant improvements in cognitive, affective, moral, and ego development.
