Dynamic Hatha

This class is a blend of a few different styles of yoga. You’ll generally find Katonah Style practices with some pranayama often inspired by Kundalini. A strong practice peppered with more gentle openings to create balance and fluidity. We work to become more skillful in our asana, focusing on safe alignment, orienting our bodies by keeping the architecture sound. With that comes better awareness of breath, prana and how to allowing the torso to become more spacious and open from the support of the base. These classes are mixed level are accessible for all students.  The practice is great to increase strength, agility and grace not only in our bodies but also our minds/thoughts and even the way we breathe.
