Intermediate Pilates Mat Series


Are you experiencing low energy, back pain, or searching for something new in your workout routine? Try Pilates on the mat and equipment! Deepen your core workout and understanding as we work through classical and contemporary intermediate sequence first on the mat, then re-familiarize ourselves with exercises on the reformer, Tower, and Wunda Chairs. Familiarity with Pilates is necessary as well as a desire to work hard. See you on the mat!

In each session there will be 35 mins mat class followed by 25 mins Pilates equipment exploration with demonstrations and hands-on learning



ABOUT THE TEACHER
Katie found mat Pilates in undergrad and it changed her muscle tone and energy levels so rapidly she knew she wanted to find out more which ultimately led to training as an instructor. She has trained in both contemporary and classical Pilates and has a true passion for the techniques that lead to better bodily alignment, as well as core and spinal strength. She's looking forward to seeing you on the mat!


PILATES COVID-19 POLICY
All participants must be fully vaccinated and boosted (with an established vaccine i.e. Pfizer/Moderna/J&J) by the first date of the series. Proof of vaccination is required (vaccine card is preferred and will be checked against your government-issued ID so be sure to bring both.)

A tight-fitting, properly worn mask is required for the duration of the series. If you do not have N95s or KN95s, you must double-mask. If you are asked more than once per class to wear your mask properly you will be asked to leave without a refund.

If you have followed the above two policies and find yourself infected with COVID-19 please stay home, follow the proper healthcare and quarantine guidelines, and we will work with you to find a way to make up missed sessions.

Hand sanitizer is required upon entering the studio and will be provided.

Grip socks are required that cover the feet and toes for sanitary and safety reasons. Please come to your first day of class with a pair of grip socks otherwise you will need to purchase a pair at a premium. Recommended sites:
