Intro to Ayurveda Workshop

_58B8856.jpeg

The ancient wisdom of Ayurveda evolved in India around 5,000 years ago and is considered to be one of the world's oldest, continually practiced forms of healthcare. Ayurveda translates to "science of life.” This practice aims at creating deeper harmony between body, mind, and spirit through awareness in diet and lifestyle practices.

Many people call Ayurveda the "sister-science" to yoga. Learning the foundations of this ancient practice complements your yoga practice as well as implements routines into your life that will optimize health and connection to the self/the divine.

In this virtual workshop, we will:

  • Begin by learning what Ayurveda is

  • Discuss foundational principles of the practice such as the 5 Elements and the 3 Doshas

  • Explore constitutions and what they look like in a balanced and imbalanced state

You will leave with tips and tools to begin incorporating this ancient wisdom into your life.
