Have you wanted to deepen your massage practice with elements of Thai massage, or to begin your journey as a Thai massage therapist? Are you ready to learn Thai massage adjustments to add into your yoga classes? Or would you like to help a loved one relieve their pain with simple Thai massage techniques?
This one-day workshop will build the foundation of your Thai massage practice or offer a unique perspective on a practice you have already begun. Cynthia will guide you through Thai massage history, principles, and techniques, drawing from her experience with both traditional and OsteoThai/Dynamic Thai massage. You will learn to safely give a full body Thai massage, using appropriate body mechanics while giving comfortable pressure and stretches.
Everyone is welcome to join this workshop, and no prior experience is needed.
This is a floor-based class, and the ability to get up and down from the floor is essential. Please wear comfortable clothing, and bring a warm layer if you get chilled easily. You will be participating with the other students, both giving and receiving Thai massage. This class includes an hour break for lunch.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Additionally, Cynthia has studied with teachers David Roma and Krishnatakis, and has been mentored by teacher Arianna Coe.
In 2022, Cynthia grew beyond only practicing Thai massage and began teaching Thai Massage at the Center for Massage and Natural Health in Asheville, NC.
